Request For Proposals (RFP) Overview

Pennsylvania Power Company (Penn Power) will use RFPs to select electric suppliers for the Residential Load and Commercial Load for its Default Service Customers. Each RFP will be identified by the month and year during which it will take place. Bids for each RFP will be submitted on a particular day, called the Bid Date for that RFP. Each RFP is to procure full requirements electricity service for a period of one year for Commercial Customers. Each RFP is to procure full requirements electricity service for a period of one and two years for Residential Customers. Penn Power's Interim Default Service Supply Plan will run from June 1, 2008 through May 31, 2011.
